このフェアーに来るのは今年で2回目になります。ディズニーやユニバーサルなどとは比べ物にならないぐらいアトラクションなのですが、なぜかこの古い感じのフェアーが好きで来てしまいます。このフェアーに来る人もなぜかとてもユニークで、人を見てるだけでも楽しめます
First thing you will notice is the animals. As soon as you enter the gate, you can smell them. I remember this from last year, so I took my allergy medicine before I come here.
門を入るとすぐに動物の臭いがします。テネシーのいろいろの牧場から来た動物でどれが一番か競います。競う内容は私もわからないのですが、一番になった動物は、勲章のような物をつけています。
Exhibitions are in the building.
Knox county school’s students works (arts to vegetables) were chosen and displayed. This reminds me that I am in agriculture state. I can’t even guess how they decide which tobacco is better than the others. How about hays?
ビルの中では学生たちの作品が展示されています。日本では絵やポスターが主ですが、こちらでは農作物や工学、家庭学などの作品も競い合ってその優秀作品が展示されています。
Rides are very old fashion ones. Watching them makes me wonder how safe they are… but I still ride them. It is interesting how sick I get riding some I used to love. Aging is not fun :(
By the way, if you love to ride, you should get the all-you-can-ride band. Order it ahead too so you can save lots money!
乗り物は超古い日本ではもう見ないような乗る物です。見た感じから安全なのか不安になるような乗り物ですが、なぜか乗ってしまいます。でもだんだん乗り物に弱くなってきて、少し悲しい。もう年も年だから…
乗り物が好きな人は1日乗り物バンドを買うとだんぜんお得です。前売り券はさらに安いのでお勧め！
Food is amazing... No wonder Americans gets obese. Everything seems fried. I admit they taste good, but not that quantity! I did find great food this time though. Mexican! They were the best in the fair!
食べ物はさすがにアメリカ。なぜか揚げ物が多い。太るはず! 揚げ物はおいしいけど量だけでも抑えたらどうだろう… 今年はこの中でもヘルシーでおいしい物を発見! メキシコ料理! また食べたいけど、どこにお店を出してるのか聞きそびれてしまった。
おまけ： とても大胆なカントリーの女の子。さすがテネシー!
Fire works are at 10:30 pm everyday / 花火も毎日あがる
I heard that this fair is getting smaller and smaller. I could tell the rides were less this year. Another tradition is disappearing… too bad.
このフェアーはだんだんと小さくなっているらしい。乗り物も去年より減っていました。たいしたお祭りではないけど、昔からの行事がなくなって行くのはなぜか寂しい気がします。
